Drake Loves The Music And Videos He Make’s (MTV)

Drake spoke with Sway from MTV News about the criticism he gets from time to time. Drake goes on to tell us what Floyd Mayweather once told him about dealing with criticism. Find out all that and more in the video clip below.

”There will be days when I walk in an arena and people will cheer and then there might be days when I walk in an arena and people might boo, but it all sounds the same to me because it’s all just noise that lets me know that I’m relevant. I don’t get booed. I don’t face that. I mean he faces that challenge but my challenge is more with social media and open opinions and people just feeling like they need to talk. It’s important for me to let my fans know I really don’t care. I’m confident. I love the music I make and the videos I make and the people I associate with and every decision I’ve ever made. Just to let [fans] know that I don’t care about anything else outside of this right here (referencing the army of fans waiting for him to perform). That other stuff, hiding behind computers and yip-yapping all day on radio stations, it’s like that’s cool, man, for points and popularity, but at the end of the day, there is still 15,000 people here.”

Drake Speaks On Club Paradise Tour and OVO Fest 2012 With MTV

Drake had a short interview with MTV news while on the set of “No Lie” music video. Drake chimed in about his Club Paradise tour, “I tried to put together a tour of, a tour that consists of, to me, everybody you hear in your spare time”. Watch the interview below.

E-40 Shows Love for Drake and Tyga’s Bay Area Sound

E-40 sat down with Sway from MTV and talked about Drake and Tyga‘s “Bay Area Sound” on “The Motto” and “Rack City” tracks. E-40 comments, “Right now, we got ‘The Motto’, we got ‘Rack City’ — hit records, smash hits,” E-40 said of Drake’s and Tyga’s respective singles when he appeared on Wednesday’s “Across the board, they killin’ ’em. That’s Bay Area-influenced, but they give it up. You know Tyga, Drake, it’s all love.”
