Drake At UCF In Orlando Florida + Bra Collection

Drake has been touring around doing his thing on the “Away From Home” Tour. He recently came to Orlando, Florida to do a concert at UCF, my old university! So a couple of my buddies ended up snagging a great video of him performing “A Night Off” and “Successful”. That’s not the only thing to watch it for, Drake has his microphone pole carrying a plentiful amount of bra’s attached to it, only to add some more when other girls decide to join the party. What you think?

Drake Doesn’t Really Call For Lil Wayne Type Energy

Drake has thankfully recovered from last year’s knee injury — the 23-year-old Toronto native has been onstage all this week performing as part of his Away From Home Tour.

“I had an assessment a week ago,” Drake told MTV News last week. “They told me that I’m definitely able to get out there and perform to the fullest. I’m still not going to be able to play basketball. I’m gonna stay far away from that, actually. But I’m ready to come back. I think I’m coming back with more maturity as far as connecting with the audience and less about running around. A lot of my performance energy before came from watching Lil Wayne. I always felt I needed to be just as energetic, running back and forth on the stage. In preparing for this tour, I realized my brand of music doesn’t really call for that. It’s more about me connecting with the audience and them enjoying the way we flip these songs around. I want them to walk away and be like, ‘That was a great night.’ ”

Drizzy has openers Francis and the Lights and K-OS on the road with him.

“I chose these acts with Oliver who works with me,” he explained. “They’re on the tour because they’re who I’m a fan of. I know I could have brought out other younger artists or rappers, but I want this to be an experience. I want them to be refreshed about music. Not like, ‘Oh, I went to another rap show.’ “

Drake On “Away From Home” Tour

Last year, Drake got his big break opening for Lil Wayne after returning from his own So Far Gone tour, where he rocked the mike at universities and small colleges across the country. This year, though, he’s the main act on “The Away From Home” trek. But he’s in no rush to move on to arenas and amphitheaters just yet — 2010’s most buzzed-out MC wants to revisit the cities and venues that helped make him 2009’s breakout star. “I loved the intimate experience,” he says about his previous tour. “I’m kind of scared of that day when I got to do like 15,000 people. I don’t know, there’s just no way for me to look them in the eyes and make them all feel important.”

To keep the ambiance going, Drake will incorporate a live band into his set. With hand-picked opening acts Francis and the Lights and K-Os, he’s hoping to recreate the vibe of his introductory shows.”It’s a musical experience, it’s about a mood,” he says. “Woman can come out and feel sexy. It’s gonna be good. Continue reading
