Drake is a huge Raptors fan, and the global ambassador for the team, so things did not turn out the way the Canadian rapper wanted when the Warriors beat the Raptors 112-109. In spite of the outcome Drake was cool and comfortable through the game thanks to his $20,000 Kicks. When Drizzy was in the Air Canada Centre for the game on Saturday, December 5, he was wearing a pair of Kicks that most fans would give almost anything for.
These sneakers are a prize, they are an Eminem’s Air Jordan IV collaboration with Carhartt which were offered in a very limited amount on Ebay for $20,000 a pair with the proceeds being used for the Marshall Mathers Foundation.
The canvas Kicks are all black, and they have a prominent logo of the Shady Records for Eminem on them. The sneakers also include the backwards E and the signature hockey mask that Eminem is known for. After the game was over Drake went to Instagram to share his thoughts on the loss and on Stephen Curry, a player for the Warriors. Drake Instagram messaged “Always hurts to see the home team take a L. But this guy is the definition of class and talent and deserves everything right now!”
