The daylong event will feature a headlining set by the rapper as well as Francis & the Lights, Young Jeezy and Bun B, with additional artists to be announced. Toronto’s Molson Amphitheatre will be the host venue for the fest, which also coincides with the 43rd annual Caribana Toronto Festival, a two-week celebration of Caribbean culture in the Canadian city.
“I truly believe this is entertainment at a level that the city has never seen before,” Drake said in a statement. “I’m hoping that it is a safe and magical night and that OVO Festival becomes tradition every year.”
The OVO Festival was created by Drake‘s own entertainment company, October’s Very Own, alongside longtime collaborators Oliver El-Khatib and Noah “40” Shebib. Tickets range from $25.75 CDN – $93.75 CDN and can be purchased at Ticketmaster.
