Drake has potential baby mama drama. Sophie Brussaux, a retired porn star, claims Drake got her pregnant. The woman has already hired two lawyers to help secure a paternity test and child support arrangements, according to TMZ.
Brussaux, who was seen with Drake following his split with Jennifer Lopez, says she’s three and a half months pregnant. She believes conception took place on January 20 or 21.
The former adult actress claims Drake told her to get an abortion. When Brussaux said no, the “Free Smoke” artist allegedly responded with profanity and criticized her for going after his money.
“You do know what you’re doing you think you’re going to get money,” Drake texted, according to Brussaux.
A source close to Drake spoke to TMZ about the situation and questioned the legitimacy of Brussaux’s accusations. The rep said Drake does not believe he is the father of the woman’s child, but he would take responsibility if proven wrong.
“This woman has a very questionable background,” the source said. “She has admitted to having multiple relationships. We understand she may have problems getting into the United States. She’s one of many women claiming he got them pregnant. If it is in fact Drake’s child, which he does not believe, he would do the right thing by the child.”
Drake’s rep also claimed Brussaux was having sex with another prominent rapper around the same time as Drizzy. The rep said this unnamed artist has “all but acknowledged” that he is the father of the child.
Young Money mogul Drake has shared mics with the best of his hip-hop counterparts, earning hit singles and his rap stripes in the process.
But after two years’ worth of high-profile beef with Meek Mill, a signee with Rick Ross, one of many of Drake’s collaborators, the MMG boss is here to inform everyone that their man-to-man talk in spite of the tension resulted in all love.
Elaborating on the meeting with Revolt TV, Ross said that their first encounter after the feud sprung shut down any preexisting hostility “before they even sat down.” He and Drake had previously spit bars together on hits like “Aston Martin Music,” “I’m on One,” “No New Friends” and several other bangers, so it would also make sense that he and Drizzy establish an understanding with one another. His opinion, he explained, the quick fix to any beef was a simple talk between two grown men.
“My relationship with Drake had always been genuine,” he further explained. “So, it’s no reason to question that. We all sat down and looked each other in the face and tell each other that. The energy was all positive. We didn’t even spend no time on no f**k s**t. It wasn’t even about no f**k s**t.”
Previously, reports from N.O.R.E. pointed to the then-alleged meetup between Drizzy and Ross, which the rap star revealed was intended to propose a truce with Meek. Unfortunately, the alleged proposition proved unsuccessful, as Drake recently shared his once a foe, always a foe sentiment toward the Dreamchasers rap star. Hopefully, he and Ross can continue keeping their rap relationship balanced in spite of the rift.
Hear what the Rather You Than Me boss had to say below.
At his birthday bash to celebrate his 30th Drake introduced Taylor Swift to his mom and treated her like a VIP, but what does this mean? Are Drizzy and Swift dating? Not at all, the two are just good friends and Taylor is not part of the normal crowd at parties thrown by the 6 God so he wanted to introduce her to his buds and the people closest to him. Everyone knows that Rihanna is the woman for Drizzy, and Swift is just a close friend that Drake likes to hang with.
While Kid Cudi is busy focusing on bettering his mental health, his manager is stepping up to the plate to make sure that people are putting respek on the musician’s name during his absence.
While the ongoing beef between his client and Drake appears to be escalating, Dennis Cummings has unapologetically hopped on Twitter to make it known that, at the end of the day, Drizzy has got nothing on Cudi.
Earlier this week, Cummings tweeted point-blank that Drake is “corny,” and, more recently took it to a level that the 6 God can’t fully recover from, addressing the fact that Drake was once “begging” to collaborate with Cudi.
“How Aubrey and his writers take a shot with the same hands they used to beg for a feature???” Cummings posted on Twitter, offering his response to Drake’s “2 Birds, 1 Stone” taking an insensitive low blow at Cudi’s mental health.
Despite Drake’s new single taking things a little bit too far, the rapper shows no signs of easing up or possibly apologizing.
While we may never receive a diss track from Cudi in response to Drake’s, perhaps Drizzy can take a note from Kanye West’s book and rise above the instinctual urge to be petty. We’ll have to wait and see what happens next.
Last night on OVO Sound Radio, Drake announced a new project, released four new songs, and threw some likely shots at rivals like Kid Cudi, Meek Mill, and Pusha T.
While all of those things got the attention they deserved—including some Twitter discussion about whether or not Drake’s Cudi diss was a rap line that went too far—it seems like Drake might have had a jab at Jay Z fly under the radar.
On “Sneakin,” he raps:
You ain't own it right away, you had to wait on niggas<br> Man I'm only 29 have some patience with us
― Drake (Ft. 21 Savage) – Sneakin’
He goes on to rap “Plus I never met nobody from my label nigga/I just pop up with the music then they pay a nigga,” too.
It’s worth noting, however, that Jay Z did own part of Roc-A-Fella Records when he dropped his debut album, Reasonable Doubt, in 1996. He was only 26 at the time.
Drake premiered several new songs during the special birthday edition of OVO Sound Radio. On the song “Two Birds, One Stone,” Drake comes out swinging at several of his rivals.
He takes a shot at Kid Cudi, who recently brought Drake into some beef on Twitter:
You were the man on the moon, now you go through your phases
Cudi called out Drake and Kanye West in a lengthy Twitter rant back in September about his dislike of the music industry.
A few weeks after his rant, Cudi checked into rehab for depression and suicidal thoughts.
Another line seems to come at Pusha T, whom Drake has exchanged disses with several times in the past. On the song, Drake references the tales of drug dealing that are often found in Pusha’s songs:
But really it’s you with all the drug dealer stories that’s gotta stop though
You made a couple chops and now you think you Chapo
If you ask me though you ain’t lining in the trunk with kilo’s
You bagging weed with all your niggas watching Pacino
Like “This is what we need to be on,” but never went live
You middle man in this shit, you were never those guys
I can tell cause I look most of you in the eyes
And you be trying to tell that story for the rest of your lives
Can’t show us where the cash is
Me, I don’t judge, I just go off the math is, numbers inflated
Finally, Drake references a history of winning beefs, likely in reference to Meek Mill:
It seems like no one wants to stay in my good graces
I’m like a real estate agent, putting you niggas in your places
Look what happens soon as you niggas talk to me crazy
An Instagram post meme that Rihanna posted about her exes has everyone buzzing in the comments about who the Barbados beauty was discussing in the meme, and questioning whether Drake is referenced in the post. On October 8 RiRi posted on Instagram “None of my exs are married or in happy relationships, so it’s safe to say that I wasn’t da problem.” The post is vague, and it has a hashtag trophy emoji as the caption. Could Rihanna be dissing Chris Brown? Is she talking about Drizzy? It is impossible to tell from the Instagram post which ex Rihanna is talking about. Fans who hope to see the Toronto rapper and the Umbrella singer together as a couple have been posting mixed comments on the post ever since it became public.
Lil Wayne is set to release a handwritten memoir from his time in Rikers Island when the rapper was serving a sentence for gun charges, titled Gone ‘Til November, and in it Dwayne Carter Jr. offers plenty of drama and gossip. Wayne also discusses finding out while behind bars that his girl slept with Drake, although the encounter happened before she hooked up with Lil Wayne. Despite the timeline Carter was still royally pissed at the news and explained that she did not tell him about the Drizzy escapade even though it was in her past.
In the journal entry with the title Bad Day Lil Tunechi wrote “No writing, prayer, Bible, sleep. Another one.”. Another entry called As a Man around the same time explained that “ I woke up still feeling f–ked up about the f–ked-up day that I had. Hell is what it was! I’m used to arguing with my girl on a daily basis…but finding out that she f–ked Drake was the absolute worst thing I could’ve found out.” Weezy continued with “As a man, honestly, that s–t hurt…and not because it was Drake. It could’ve been any man and it would’ve hurt the same. She said it happened way before we got together, but she just never told me. When Drizzy came to see me, he was like, ‘Yeah, it’s true…Don’t f–k with her like that ’cause I did f–k her.’ Damn! At that point, it didn’t matter to me when it f–king happened…because the f–king happened!” Lil Wayne made peace with the news though, shown in the entry “As a man I’ll admit that s–t really f–ked me up, but hey, f–k that ho! Love is blind, that’s why I say make sure that bitch is a seeing-eye dog.”
